Before St. Pete Tallow existed, there were 15+ years in medical sales, pharmaceutical science, and medical device — including regenerative biologics case support in operating rooms. Wellness, science, and human biology have never been abstract concepts. They have been the foundation of a career.

That background does not leave you when you walk off the court. It changes how you think about everything — including what you put on your skin.

The problem was simple and familiar to anyone who trains and competes outside. Every moisturizer evaporated before noon. Water-based lotions that felt hydrating for 20 minutes, then left skin drier than before. Products engineered for a climate-controlled bathroom, not for hours of salt air, Gulf heat, and full-body exertion on the sand.

Then a coworker handed over a homemade tallow balm. Skeptical — but scientifically curious. It worked better than anything else. But it was heavy, greasy, and unrefined. The right ingredient in the wrong formula.

Human sebum and bovine tallow share remarkably similar fatty acid profiles — oleic, palmitic, and stearic acids — which is why tallow integrates with the skin barrier without resistance. The skin does not have to work to absorb it.

ROSEMARY CO2 ANTIOXIDANT EXTRACT

Why we use CO2 extraction — not standard essential oil

Rosemary CO2 extract — standardized to minimum 6% carnosic acid — is one of the most effective natural antioxidant systems available for oil-based formulations. It protects the oxidation-prone fatty acids in our formula from going rancid, directly extending shelf life and maintaining active potency. Standard steam-distilled rosemary EO does not deliver the same antioxidant protection.
